Ferragamo Spring-Summer 2018 men’s collection, designed by Guillaume Meilland is all about the easy going, ever so chic lifestyle and the understated elegance of the sun-kissed Italian and French Riviera.

The essence of a collection always begins with the fabrics. Salvatore Ferragamo sets the mood with a gorgeous breezy palette of earth-tones, ivory, gentle pinks, and light blues with pops of deep mahogany.

mens-1.jpgFrom formal to casual, the featured silhouettes are light, easy, and deconstructed, underscoring a work-to-weekend versatility with a cool edge. Keep an eye out for fresh fabrics and signature details that are deeply intertwined with Ferragamo’s much loved leather heritage and expertise.

mens-2.jpgThe collection was inspired by life by the seaside. You will notice a lot of soft terrycloth, corduroy, and velour appearing next season. In solids or decorated with subtle marine patterns featuring wreathes of corals and seahorses, all the fabrics are used for Bermuda shorts, coats, and jackets. In a similar vein, spongy textures add a distinctive twist to a range of airy polo-shirts and zipped cardigans.

mens-3.jpgIn contract there are also recognizable British checks and sartorial fabrics that have been fashioned into, unlined, clean cut jackets, shorts, and suits – perfect for any occasion. You will also be able to find on trend windbreakers that have a rubberized finish or sleek coats that are bonded with jersey or organdie.

mens-4.jpgOf course the shoes are quintessentially Ferragamo with rubber-soled penny loafers and booties adorned with the signature “Gancino” in organic materials such as wood and horn.

Look out for the collection and get ready to pick up some new outfits!
