Saint Laurent's latest collection lends its rational yet optimistic outlook unto the closets of the debonair
Anthony Vaccarello takes his art around the world on behalf of the Saint Laurent Men's Spring Summer '21 collection. From the rooftops of Paris to the iconic skyscrapers of New York and alongside the historic Great Wall in Bejing, Vaccarello's curated digital project showcases some of Saint Laurent's most inspired work.
The entire project is revealed through a six-minute video filled with daring stunts and jaw-dropping parkour. The models seem blasé amid the backdrop of some of the world's most incredible architecture, spotlighting instead the materials, forms, and colours of their attire.
Through videos, 3D lenticular imagery, a music playlist, street posters, and billboards around the world, Saint Laurent has created a space that caters to the nebulous divide of the digital and the physical. Entitled "No Matter How Long The Night Is", the entire project is a curated reminder to viewers of Saint Laurent's belief: "breathing, reaching the horizon, and looking at the future, no matter how long the night is."
