London Fashion Week took the UK capital by storm over the weekend, and the emphasis was on bold, fearless beauty looks. We round up five of the most striking catwalk makeup moments.

1. Julien Macdonald

Royal blue eyeshadow, as seen here on supermodel Winnie Harlow, was the focal point of the glamorous beauty look at Julien Macdonald's show. Sleek, shiny tresses and a glossy nude lip made for a polished result.

2. Alexa Chung

For her debut London show, designer and style icon Alexa Chung opted for a supercharged glow, sending models down the runway with complexions that were buffed, moisturized and highlighted to dewy perfection.

Nicopanda brought cabaret vibes to the catwalk with glittery wigs, exaggerated, spidery false lashes and sumptuous lipstick colors, such as this rich purple hue.

4. Bora Aksu

Turkish designer Bora Aksu focused on earthy tones, debuting a smudged, smokey eye in natural hues, and teaming it with unkempt brows and a nude lip, proving that natural does not have to mean boring.

5. Pam Hogg

Headdresses like this call for equally theatrical makeup, and Pam Hogg met the brief with an exaggerated, doll-like beauty look that centered on rosy blush that sat high on the cheekbones, and a series of drawn-on lower lashes that fanned out towards the edges of the models' faces.
