Rihanna's collaboration with Chopard has birthed both high and fine jewellery collections.
Global music and style superstar Rihanna has flexed her designer chops again in a collaboration with Chopard, a respected Swiss jewellery and watchmaking house.
The 29-year-old is a style chameleon who can wow in streetwear as easily as she does on the red carpet at the Met Ball. Her two collections with Chopard follow in much the same vein—the high jewellery collection is unbelievably stunning and studded with vibrant coloured gemstones, while the fine jewellery collection is simple and chic, perfect for spicing up the everyday.

The collaboration line is appropriately named Rihanna ♥ Chopard (read: Rihanna loves Chopard), and was created with the help of Chopard's co-president and creative director Caroline Scheufele.
The high jewellery collection is split into two halves each inspired by Rihanna's Barbadian roots. The Gardens of Barbados half gets its inspiration from (surprise, surprise) the lush tropical gardens of Barbados, while the Carnival half draws from the electric energy of the island's annual Kadooment Day festival.
The pieces in the high jewellery collection are festooned with amazing gemstones—think Paraíba Tourmalines, rubies, coloured sapphires, garnets, and tsavorites of various cuts (just to name a few).
The Rihanna ♥ Chopard fine jewellery collection, on the other hand, is significantly more subtle. As much as we'd like to wear our pink sapphires out every day, it's probably not practical. The collection centres around the minimalist geometry of Chopard's classic Ice Cube shape, and features sharp, clean lines that make the pieces versatile and wearable for almost any occasion.
Stack them like Rihanna does in the campaign shot for a high-impact look, or wear them alone if you prefer something simpler. All pieces in this collection are made of 18ct rose gold that has been certified Fairmined, as part of Chopard's ongoing efforts to source their raw materials from ethical suppliers.

The line will be launching at a pop-up on the 20th of July, at the Ngee Ann City Atrium, so if you want to see the Rihanna ♥ Chopard collection in person then that's the place to go.
In the meantime, however, here are some pictures of what to expect:
