The virtual showing was not a runway, but a piece of art. It was a video presentation that was choreographed and interwoven with a captivating musical performance. The video was youthful and current in that it played of off Zoom video conferencing and how that is the main medium the world has been staying connected through these days. It all begins as a woman fixes her webcam and poses. The whole show was well choreographed so that each ensemble and room transitioned seamlessly into one another revealing a plethora of stunning rooms around Villa Necchi. Models posted in the Villa’s literal rooms and in their virtual zoom rooms, interacting with one another and also acknowledging and playing with the camera.

The collection by creative director Walter Chiapponi contains easy shapes and washed, worn-out textures and is eccentric and spontaneous. Women can expect washed suede and canvas safari jackets, liquid duster jackets, patchwork leather blousons, pleated trousers and long shirts. The menswear presents with an intensely lived-in characteristic. The colour palette was filled with neutral, rustic hues with pops of jewel tones and embodies nonchalant perfection.
